About us

KM Presents is headed up by Kate McKenzie. Kate has 20 years' experience in event production, food programming and F&B consultancy for festivals, events and venues. She has built an authentic network of connections within both food/drink and makers/artisans - an enviable ‘little black book’.

Kate's love of events and bringing people together started back at Global Radio, working on productions for Help A London Child. She moved on to produce projects at award-winning festivals for Live Nation, Festival Republic and Evening Standard. Recent clients include Market Halls, AEG’s British Summertime, LIV Golf, Formula E, UEFA, Iron Maiden and Manchester’s Factory International. She headed up the food programming for Wilderness festival from 2018-2021. And has created and managed street food trader line ups for high profile events like Camp Bestival, Lytham Festival, London Food Month and London Craft Beer Festival.

Kate also created the hugely successful We Love Cheese event, which took place at Battersea Power Station in 2019 and went on to curate and produce the iconic location’s first celebrASIA festival in 2024.

Kate divides her time between events and her successful retail business - The Store Collective - in the English seaside town of Margate, where Kate relocated in 2023. She may have swapped the city and the tube for the coast and wild swimming, but luckily the food scene in Margate is pretty exciting, so she’s still never far from a restaurant.
